Leo K. Barnes Jr. recently served as a guest lecturer for the NYSBA CLE Commercial Litigation Academy 2022, where he addressed Dispositive Motions, including Motions to Dismiss, Judgments on the Pleadings, and Summary Judgment Motions.
The two-day CLE was presented by the New York State Bar Association on November 3rd and 4th, assembling an outstanding panel of distinguished and well-known commercial litigators, current and former in-house counsel, and current and retired Commercial Division Judges to provide attendees with valuable insights on federal and state commercial litigation. Leo’s insightful, informative presentation was featured during the Academy’s second day.
The full curriculum provided both admitted attorneys and experienced practitioners with a unique opportunity to earn CLE credits, enhance their commercial litigation skills, and discuss key ethical and evidentiary issues typically confronted by commercial litigators.
